Dr. Nguyen-Rodriguez’s research interests focus on health equity for minority populations. She primarily studies obesity prevention in ethnic minority youth using a community-based approach. Poor sleep is a major risk factor for obesity, thus current research investigates multilevel influences on sleep and culturally relevent sleep health intervention in Latinx children.
