The email comes from a compromised CSULB student email account and provides details about a part-time job position with an unknown email address to contact for more information. It is also noted to use your personal email instead of your school email.

The scammer is attempting to gather personal information from unsuspecting victims and steal log in credentials. These types of scams are known to lead to depositing fake checks and stealing money from personal bank accounts. CSULB IT has addressed the compromised CSULB account.
