This email has been circulating and has been sent by compromised accounts that are addressed as they become known. Subjects are similar or a little different. Here are some addresses that have been compromised:

The email comes from a compromised CSULB email account and provides details about a memo from the HR Department with a Google Doc link “Click Here”. This is a phishing scam. Please delete the email.

Message Intent

The scammer is attempting to gather personal information from unsuspecting victims and steal log in credentials. These types of scams are known to lead to depositing fake checks and stealing money from personal bank accounts. CSULB IT has addressed the compromised CSULB account.
