The email comes from a compromised CSULB student email account and is claiming that user's Office 365 accounts will be terminated if they do not verify their account information through the “Click Here” short URL link. The email claims that ignoring this message will result in the termination of their account. The email also claims to be from the IT Help Desk.

Message Intent

 CSULB IT has addressed the compromised CSULB accounts. This is an attempt to send unsuspecting recipients to a fake login page to steal one's campus login username and password and other personal information.
