This session provides an overview of the Procurement process, requirements and guidelines governing the procurement of goods and services for CSULB. Topics to be discussed during the session include: · Who we are · State law, CSU Policies, and CSULB Guidelines · CSU delegation of authority · The Role of Procurement Services · Mechanisms for acquiring goods and services · The procurement process flow · Prohibited practices · Bid thresholds · Requesting department guidelines · Requisition processing delays · How to Purchase and Pay categories The Director of Procurement Services is available to answer any questions you may have on the procurement process. Additionally, the Director will provide guidance on getting requisitions processed in a timely manner and when to include Procurement Services in your purchasing decisions before a requisition is submitted. The session is in-person only, remote access to the training is not available, nor will it be recorded.
